With our upcoming CCS and CRAG competitions on 2/28 and 3/1, we have been searching high and low for a guest speaker for the night of the 28th. Last year, Lynn Hill shared stories of her life as a professional climber. This year, we are pleased to announce that Kevin Jorgeson will be speaking to the Stanford community at 7:00pm on February 28th

Kevin has recently been all over the news for completing the Dawn Wall on El Capitan with his partner-in-crime Tommy Caldwell. This ascent is considered by many to be the most difficult rock climbing in the world.

Kevin's presentation will be at Braun Auditorium, with 290 seats. We will be giving priority to Stanford Students (free entry), as well as participants in the CCS and CRAG competitions that weekend (non-Stanford CRAG/CCS participants can purchase tickets for $5). Sign up for CRAG here!

There will also be general public tickets available for $20 each at the door (6:00pm, first come first serve for remaining seats).

Stanford Students and CRAG/CCS competitors may pick up a ticket between 12pm and 5:30pm at the AOERC Climbing Wall.  Individuals must be present to pick up a ticket.  Any remaining tickets will be available at the event door.  Doors will open at 6:00pm.
