Oct. 14 up on Skyline Blvd. This class is completely suitable for anyone who has never climbed before either inside or outside, or who has climbed some, but would like a refresher. Details are below. Please respond ASAP so we can arrange transportation. If you can drive (it's about 40 minutes), please let me know how many you can take. Belay certification: meet at the Stanford Climbing Wall on the first floor of the Arrillaga Center for Sports and Rec at 6:30 on Fri., Oct. 13. If you have never belayed before, you must attend this meeting! Health forms, waivers and harness/shoes rental: stop by the Wall between 6:30-7:30 on Fri. Oct. 13th to pay and fill out forms, rent gear, and get the belay sign off. Sat. Oct 14th: Meet at 11:30am in Tressider parking lot. Bring comfortable hiking shoes/clothes, food, water, harness, climbing shoes. We will climb until dusk, returning around 7pm. Cost is TBD, but will be cheap enough to make it totally worthwhile! You'll have 4-5 instructors, climbs of varying difficulty and guaranteed fun -- if you have ever wanted to try outdoor climbing, this is the time! Sharon
